Scholarships

Our Barbara T. Jacquet Memorial Scholarship Fund honors the late Barbara T. Jacquet, a member who was a career woman and a dedicated volunteer.  It is used to fund a scholarship for an outstanding high school graduate for whom college would be beyond financial reach without assistance.  Applications are distributed to guidance counselors at area high schools.

The Doll League/Mary Gardner Lopez Endowed Scholarship at Meharry Medical College honors a founding member, the late Mary Gardner Lopez, who maintained strong ties to the college as a professor and a supporter.  It is awarded to a student chosen by the college.

Recipients of Doll League scholarships have graduated from Hampton, Harvard, Hunter, Morris Brown, Syracuse, Lehigh and other colleges and universities.
